NATALIA VASQUEZ (SHE/HER)
Graduate Student Intern, Portland State University
Natalia has dedicated over a decade to promoting individuals' well-being. Her journey began with leading mindful movement programs and teaching yoga and breathwork to help clients connect with their bodies. She later became a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBH-WC), focusing on helping clients adopt and sustain healthy lifestyles, emphasizing behavioral change strategies. Her professional journey solidified the belief that lasting change and inner peace are rooted in a holistic approach that honors the interconnectedness of mind, body, soul, and environment. She believes this approach also supports the alignment of thoughts, words, and actions for an authentic way of living.
Driven by her commitment to seeing her clients thrive, Natalia is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling at Portland State University and has completed a Somatic Trauma Healing Immersion. As a therapist-in-training, she is deeply committed to supporting individuals and couples in their personal growth, overcoming trauma, and enhancing their relationships with themselves and others. Her approach to therapy is characterized by cultural humility, informed by her Hispanic heritage and bicultural experiences. Natalia values each client's unique background, cultural heritage, values, and beliefs, striving to create a safe and open environment for exploration.
When working with Natalia, clients can expect a dedicated and passionate counselor who is committed to walking alongside them on their journey.
Outside of therapy, Natalia enjoys spending time in nature, cuddling sessions with her dog, dancing, and live music. She currently offers therapy via telehealth.
